General Information:
I have been teaching at Rosemont for 22 years. I went to college at Barton College (formerly Atlantic Christian College) and earned a degree in Health and Physical Education. I am also licensed to teach classroom, grades 4 through 7. I enjoy teaching Rosemont students year after year and watching them grow and learn. I am very excited about this school year! We will work on learning, having fun and becoming physically fit!

This is Miss Walker's second year as PE assistant, but she has quite a few years experience working with Parks and Recreation in the after school program.
I am proud to announce that Mr. Cassidy has taken a position at Trantwood Elementary as their new physical education specialist.
I am also proud to announce that our new physical education assistant is Rosemont's Volunteer of the Year. Her name is Mrs. DePeralta. She also has a son in first grade who attends Rosemont. She is adjusting well and is a wonderful fit for our physical education department.

On the left is Mrs. DePeralta dressed as Dorothy, in the middle is Mrs. Nixon dresssed as the Scarecrow, on the right is Ms. Walker dressed as the Cowardly Lion. In the front is Mrs. DePeralta's son, Trent dressed as the Tin Man.
The Physical Education Program
Our physical education program helps students to develop the physical skills and knowledge necessary for efficient movement, participation in basic sports skills and developing and maintaing a healthy level of physical fitness. Through activites and games we carry out a positive developmental program which allows students to experience success and and enjoyment.
